| Description: | I am a student..very unconventional in Indian standard. I did my MA from North Bengal University in 1989, worked 11 years as high school teaher, first in The St.Xavier's, Malda and then in Manikchak Siksha Niketan at Manikchak, but extremely unsatisfied in the job. In 2007 I came to United States and joined University of North Carolina as a graduate student. Presently I am doing my Ph.D in the University of North Carolina on 'violent non-state actor and international conflict'. I love Malda and cherish my memories of Malda Zilla School. I have fond memories of the great Ponta Sir, Surojit Sir, Arun Sir (Sanyal) to name a few. I also remember how Tirtha, the Army officer and my younger brother used to steal banana from Headmaster's quarter. Okay, I should not spill the bean...ha ha ha. |
